Which is the fastest mammal animal in the world?

The cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) holds the title for the fastest land mammal. Cheetahs are capable of reaching speeds up to 75 miles per hour (120 kilometers per hour) in short bursts covering distances of around 500 meters (1,640 feet) or less. Their remarkable acceleration and top speed make them highly efficient predators, allowing them to pursue and catch fast prey on the African savannah.
